Joyce Bryant, Chief Financial Officer
Joyce has over 21 years management and accounting experience in the healthcare and insurance industries. Most recently she served as the Director of Revenue for a national hospice organization. Through process improvements and team building, she maintained positive cash flow, reduced day’s outstanding, maximized reimbursement and reduced bad debt. Joyce has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Ashwood University.

Misty Sanchez, Director of Human Resources
Misty has nine years experience in Human Resources, all of which have been in healthcare. Her career has spanned large and small hospitals and an inpatient treatment facility for women and girls with eating disorders. She has supported facilities as small as 150 employees to a hospital with 3,000 employees. Misty is currently working on a degree in Business Administration. She is very involved with the Society for Human Resource Management as well as the Prescott Area Human Resource Association.

Judy Baum, Director of Therapy Operations
Judy has 31 years experience in healthcare with the majority of those years in acute rehabilitation. In addition to acute care, Judy specialized in outpatient, home health and a brain injury residential program. She earned her degree in Physical Therapy from Ohio State University and her Masters in Health Administration from the University of Colorado at Denver. She has pursued further studies in the field of mind-body medicine and is excited that Ernest Health recognizes this important connection in their pursuit of helping patients to heal. Judy’s passions are team and program development and patient and staff individual potential.

Bob Gravel, Regional Director of Plant Operations
Bob has been in the healthcare industry for over 12 years. The majority of that time has been focused in the acute care rehabilitation hospital setting as plant operations supervisor for 13 facilities in a nationwide, multi-hospital system. His background for this type of building operations and plant management comes from years of education and work experience in a number of fields including architectural drafting, materials estimating, owner and operator of a building supply center, vice-president for a community development association, and participation as a city council member. Bob’s healthcare and public works experience also includes 15 years as an EMT and 8 years as a police officer in the state of Minnesota.

Risa Little, Director of Marketing and Business Development
Risa has over 26 years in sales and marketing experience with the past 15 devoted to healthcare marketing throughout Arizona and neighboring states. Much of her healthcare experience has been representing acute care hospital services with the goal of ensuring access and awareness for benefit of rural and underserved populations of central and northern Arizona. Risa has a Bachelor of Science in marketing and journalism from Northern Arizona University and completed her Master’s of Science in Management with an emphasis in healthcare at NAU in 2004.

Derron DeRouin, Director Quality Improvement & Risk Management
Derron received his Bachelor of Science from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. He went on to get his Masters degree in Health Care Administration from California State University in Bakersfield. Derron has over 16 years of experience in health care quality improvement with advanced training in lean six-sigma and statistical process control. During his career he has had the unique opportunity to provide quality improvement expertise in pharmacy benefit management working with provider groups, health plans and pharmaceutical companies.

Martin Yee, Medical Director

Martin Yee, M.D. is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He attended Medical School at the University of Southern California School of Medicine. He completed his Internship and Residency at the University of California, Irvine. Prior to joining MVRRH, Dr. Yee was a physiatry consultant at numerous rehabilitation and LTAC facilities in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area. He also served as the Medical Director for a free-standing rehabilitation hospital in Reno, Nevada.

Maureen Beebe, Director of Nursing

Maureen has 31 years of experience in nursing with a clinical background that includes acute care, long term care and acute rehabilitation nursing. Throughout her career, she has held a variety of management positions including Vice President of Patient Care Services, Nursing Home Administrator and Nursing Director as well as positions in quality and risk management.
She is dedicated to providing excellent service to patients and has facilitated a variety of quality initiatives that resulted in improved patient care.
Maureen earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh and her Master of Science degree in Nursing Administration from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
